Saturday, January 30, 2010, 12:15 p.m. Oregon senior Ashton Eaton has just broken the NCAA record in the heptathlon this morning at the Texas A&M! Eaton scored 6,256 points to surpass Trey Hardee's 2006 mark of 6,208 points set for Texas in 2006. Eaton's score is also the fifth-best score all-time in American history.
